Graves on Woodward Mountain
At one time there were five graves with stones on Woodward Mountain. I just recently received an email from a Harold Daughety, as he found the location. This is what he told me:
On May 12, 2003 I located the tombstone on Woodard mountain. I had hoped to find a relative: it doesn't appear to be so..
That inscription was :
NOVAETTA DOHERTY
(missing) 1903
DIED MAY 20, 1904
"Gone too soon"
An older gentleman in town said that there was five tombstones, but someone, now in prison, stole the other four. He said that the other four were Woodards.
